Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic Kicks-Off 40th Year

I can't stress how vital it is in 2015 (and beyond) to support local Panhellenic groups. Panhellenic groups unite all the National Panhellenic Council sororities to promote the Greek system. Why is the Greek system worth promoting? Because it fosters leadership, teamwork, loyalty, scholarship, philanthropy, and other desirable traits in our young women.

Panhellenics make us bigger than any single sorority and, by working together, we can accomplish so much more in our Greek recruitment efforts. We learn to cooperate, rather than compete. That's why I always start all my Panhellenic group communications with "Hi Sisters!"

Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic is open to all Greek women who live in the North Dallas area. The group supports Greek life through scholarships and recruitment forums. Membership in PRAP is open to any member of one of the 26 National Panhellenic Conference Sororities. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Membership dues are $30 per year.

PRAP kicks off another year - Celebrating 40 years of helping young women in Plano and Richardson! We hope you will join the celebration which kicks off on Wednesday, September 16th at Beth Galway's home at 6433 Willowdale in Plano (Midway and Windhaven, just west of the Tollway).

Enjoy Mexican food and an evening with old and new friends. Our membership kicks off with the school year. Plan to join us for this social event and bring your calendar! Mark it for our next meetings - we hope to have another award winning program year!
