Show Me the Money: Dues and Budget

One of the questions I hear when an alumna is deciding to join our chapter is, "What are the dues to join the alumnae chapter?" Fortunately, alumna dues are a lot less than what you paid in college! The Plano-Collin County Alumnae chapter ANNUAL dues are $50.

The next question I usually hear is, “What exactly are my dues paying for?” Dues are used to cover a variety of operating expenses, philanthropic endeavors, and a variety of other activities. This amount is determined by reviewing our average membership and expenses for the last few years, plus looking at what activities the chapter would like to do this year. Should our membership exceed the projected amount, we can expand our budget to do more. Below is a breakout of our dues for 2015-2016.

National Dues (required for each alumnae chapter member): $10.00

Plano-Richardson Alumnae Panhellenic

(dues for one delegate as well as scholarship donations): $10.00

Founder's Day

(amount of luncheon or other activity covered for dues paid members): $10.00

Philanthropy Projects

(Easter Egg Hunt with Journey of Hope and other donations) $10.00

Programs/Collegiate Relations $7.00

PayPal Fees, Misc. Expenses $3.00

Total 2015-2016 Dues $50.00
